The Impact You'll Make: Join our dynamic Paslode Sales Team as an Account Manager to the Independent Hardware Market! As a pivotal member of the team, your role is to maximise sustainable growth, sales, and profitability of Paslode with accounts in nominated channels and territory by fully understanding the value proposition for each brand and developing and maintaining effective commercial relationships & strategic account plans with internal & external stakeholders.
A fully maintained company car, computer, and mobile phone will be provided to the successful candidate.
Territory: South West Suburbs of New South Wales, with a country run of 3 to 4 days per month.
Your Responsibilities: Develop strong and effective relationships throughout all levels of a customer's business and have a thorough understanding of the key drivers and opportunities within their business; Develop & manage efficient call cycles that ensure appropriate levels of service for all customers; Ensure effective ranging & merchandising, provide post-sales support/administration, attend trade shows, identify training needs and deliver training, attend exhibitions and sales meetings as required; Monitor, analyse, and provide insights into account performance. Leverage analysis to drive identification of gaps/opportunities and inform business decisions; Understand the value of the offer from the perspective of the customer & leverage it as a collective solution (including inventory & range management, merchandising, marketing, promotion, training, end user engagement etc.); Develop target customer strategic account plans that optimise growth & delivery of sales targets. Own the implementation and regularly review performance in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders; Build & maintain product and market knowledge e.g. value proposition, product range, applications, competitors, market share, sales promotion, and product innovation opportunities; Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by the Company management. About You: Background in sales, with a local market leader would be beneficial; Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships; Experience developing & implementing account plans and ability to articulate successful outcomes delivered; Intermediate skills in MS Office; Excellent oral and written communication including presentation skills; Ability to work independently and in a team; Flexibility in relation to hours and location of work duties- i.e. may be required to travel regionally and start early for Trade events; Motor Vehicle driver's licence.
