We're authorised Kubota dealers for mini excavators, tractors, mowers, and excavator parts. We sell a complete range of Kubota parts and products to meet the customer's needs. As the Parts Manager of a small team, you must be capable of acting as much as a mentor as a manager in relation to providing advice, guidance, and training to your team. In addition to frequently adopting the role of Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for ensuring inventories will meet customer needs without being excessive. To do this, you must have thorough product knowledge and the ability to analyse parts sales volumes. More specifically your key responsibilities will include the following: Manage the inventory of parts, including ordering, receiving, and stocking. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions. Correctly identify part numbers using drawings and part breakdowns. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts. Work with internal teams to identify parts needs and ensure that they are met. Monitor and analyse inventory levels to optimise stock levels and minimise waste. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of parts management. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to parts management. Train and supervise staff responsible for parts management. In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential: Previous experience as a Parts Manager or similar role, preferably in the construction or agricultural machinery industry. Ability to maintain a high standard of relevant product knowledge. Ability to lead & mentor a team. Intermediate computer literacy using relevant software (e.g., MS Office suite). Sound written & verbal communication skills. Skilled at adopting an appropriate and convincing communication style for the audience. Skilled at reading technical drawings and publications. Ability to determine issues requiring escalation. Experience with EQUIP dealer management software will be highly regarded.
