About the Role The position begins with a six-month maternity leave cover as a Parts Interpreter, providing expert support to customers and suppliers.
Following this period, the role transitions into a Sales & Relationship Manager position, focused on promoting parts sales, building relationships, and driving growth for the Spare Parts Department across Perth, Collie, and Kalgoorlie.
This role combines technical expertise, customer relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives to enhance the company's footprint in the heavy vehicle and transport sectors.
Responsibilities Parts Interpreter (First 6 Months):
Identify and source parts for trucks, trailers, light vehicles, light plant, and consumables.Process orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely supply through effective supplier coordination.Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice.Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate competitive purchase pricing.Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the Spare Parts Department.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.Promote products and services to increase sales across Perth, Collie, and Kalgoorlie.Identify and onboard new suppliers, enhancing the product range and ensuring competitive pricing.Conduct customer site visits to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.Skills & Experience Extensive experience in parts sales, particularly within the heavy vehicle, transport, and associated industries.A proven track record in sales and relationship management.Strong knowledge of automotive and heavy vehicle parts markets.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to independently manage accounts and meet sales targets.Proficiency in inventory management and CRM systems.A valid driver's license, with travel required for the role.Application Candidates with relevant experience and a passion for driving sales growth are encouraged to apply.
