Parts Interpreter - Machinery - Newcastle The company is a leading provider of industrial material handling & processing equipment. Position Overview
Working in the Parts Department interacting with commercial customers and workshop techs regarding their spare parts needs, including machine/equipment identification and the identification of required parts. Utilizing parts manuals and online resources and interacting with the OEM regarding spare part requirements. Processing parts orders for customers and the workshop, including inquiries, quotes, and processing sales orders. Participating in cycle counts and annual stock-takes. Engaging with customers, building working relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the parts business. Providing excellent customer service, including following up on customer orders. Delivering a helpful and proactive point-of-call for customers assisting them with their spare part needs. Candidate Requirements
Experience as a parts interpreter, ideally with mobile crushing, screening, or recycling equipment, or agricultural or other types of machinery/equipment. Experience working in time-sensitive situations and the ability to prioritize work. A willingness to learn new equipment and systems. Well-developed customer service, communication, and computer skills. The ability to use initiative and work well independently. A helpful attitude and a proactive approach to work. Driver's License and Forklift License. On Offer
An excellent opportunity to step up into a parts interpreter role within the mining & industrial market, with a salary of $70,000 - $80,000pa plus Super. The position also has scope for future development.
