Job Description As a Parts Advisor you'll play a central role in ensuring the seamless availability of parts for all customers internal and external.You'll build meaningful customer relationships while increasing and maximising part sales.With our onsite workshop you'll be the go-to for parts great and small, while also providing interpreting services and support to the team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader and power up your career with Penske!In this role you will: Provide parts interpreting services & support to the Yatala branch, service and sales departments and our dealer network.Ensure a regular flow of parts to the onsite workshop, and to our valued customers.Work with the parts team to increase and maximise all part sales.Provide top notch customer service ensuring each customer is heard, understood and respected.Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders, internal and external.Monitor and stay informed of the latest product developments & updates to stay ahead of the game.Monitor stock levels, forecast and order parts per company requirements.Review freight and shipping to ensure we're doing things in the most effective way.Get your hands dirty and build team morale by getting involved in stocktakes and relevant parts call outs when required.Use your knowledge and experience to up and cross sell where appropriate.About you: Have a 2 to 3 years of Parts Advisor experience with strong relationship building skills.Be completing (or have completed) a Certificate in Parts Interpreting (ideal) or have relevant industry experience.A basic understanding of the operation of internal combustion engines (essential) and automatic transmissions (desirable)Great phone manner, strong email etiquette and the ability to communicate in a positive manner with clients and fellow employees.Alignment with Penske values of Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity and Care.Added benefits: More than 20 sites across Australia & New Zealand.Flexible work arrangements.Penske Power-Up Day - An additional paid day off for all permanent employees.Refer a friend and we'll pay you $4,000 for Diesel Technicians, Service and Parts Advisors & $1,000 for all other roles (conditions apply).Commitment to career development and progression.Commitment to providing the highest levels of safety, technical and leadership training.Reward and Recognition Programs.Employee Assistance Program.Family Friendly benefits.Access to discounted travel, health insurance & motor vehicle leasing options.
