As our Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the forefront of securing and growing powerful, long-term relationships with Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations. Your efforts will directly support Mission Australia's vital work, creating positive outcomes for communities in need. In this role, you'll collaborate with a passionate team, implementing innovative fundraising strategies that attract and retain major funders.Your key responsibilities will be to:Achieve individual income target by focusing on high-value private funding opportunities; designated and undesignatedDevelop and maintain a 12-month rolling sales and engagement plan for your portfolioMarket scoping, research, and prospecting activities with assistance from our Support TeamContribute to the development of the annual Partnerships and Philanthropy Strategy, through Practice LeadershipRecord, maintain, and monitor expectations and needs of supporters and stakeholders in CRM according to agreed proceduresRequirements for SuccessStrong fundraising or sales professional, result and solution-driven with a great focus on client service and satisfaction5-8 years experience in a sales role, preferably in a fundraising-, sponsoring- or community services environment, managing corporate partners or major gift relationshipsProven ability to build strong, respectful, and robust relationships, with a strong track record of achieving targets within set timeframes and with limited resourcesUnderstand the competitive fundraising environment, as well as economic and market issues facing philanthropists and corporates in AustraliaA team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentialityWell-developed written and verbal communication skills, good command of Microsoft OfficeBefore starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.Our CultureOur innovative and inclusive culture will ensure you feel valued at Mission Australia as you help Australians in need and develop in your career.
