Are you motivated to support early childhood services, schools and communities to ensure every child has a strong start in the early years?The Darling Downs South West Region is seeking someone who is evidence-informed, dynamic and accountable when it comes to achieving improvement through early childhood partnerships and programs.
The Partnerships Facilitator, Early Childhood will be responsible for enabling services, schools and communities to improve engagement, participation, transitions and wellbeing in the early years.The successful applicant will work with key leaders in a community to develop and enable place-based plans through effective partnerships with early childhood education and care services, funded early years programs, schools and communities.

Our region offers dynamic work environments as well as an affordable and community-oriented lifestyle, with access to essential facilities and diverse experiences for singles and families.Your RoleAs the Partnerships Facilitator, Early Childhood you will:Develop effective partnerships and support communities to implement place-based approaches to improve outcomes for children and families based on early childhood data.Work with stakeholders and other identified partners to plan implementation of early childhood initiatives, including monitoring and evaluation to improve performance within the region.Responsibilities IncludeImplement early childhood specific initiatives, prioritising the participation and engagement of all children in development and learning pathways; and in quality transitions, that lead to successful educational outcomes and wellbeing.Access and analyse information sources such as economic and demographic data, Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector performance data, regional development plans, local government planning documents, recommendations and papers to inform planning and coordination, advice and support.Prepare quality project plans and reports, as well as submissions, briefs and correspondence to provide advice to the Manager to inform decision making and ensure outcomes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.Identify local priorities and address emerging issues and trends to build community capacity and enhance performance to optimise quality outcomes for children.Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients to collaborate on early years priorities relating to early childhood.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
