Your role will be crucial in expanding Ethos Urban's reach and influence, enhancing brand awareness, demonstrating thought leadership, and building new client relationships.The Partnerships and Events Lead will play a dual role: leading Ethos Urban's corporate events program and driving stakeholder engagement through strategic partnerships. This position requires a business development mindset paired with event management expertise to maximise client growth through our sponsorship and event initiatives across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane (with occasional travel involved).You'll also be responsible for deepening your understanding of Ethos Urban's committee, membership, and partnership portfolio (including PCA, PIA, UDIA, ULI) to leverage these networks for growth opportunities.Key responsibilitiesPartnership and Lead Generation: Proactively seek partnerships and events that generate valuable leads and enhance brand awareness. Leverage your marketing and event expertise to convert these partnerships and event engagements into actionable client opportunities. Track, report, and evaluate each event's effectiveness, focusing on lead quality, client engagement, and return on investment.Event Operations: Oversee all logistical aspects of both corporate and partnership events. For occasional corporate events, manage logistics such as venue selection, catering arrangements, branding, and attendee experience. For regular partnership and sponsorship events, handle logistics including branding, client and attendee management, and ensuring partner benefits are delivered as negotiated.Content Creation: Collaborating with the marketing and communications specialist, create content opportunities from our events.Financial Management: Co-create and manage event budgets in collaboration with the team.Teamwork and Collaboration: You are part of a small team, and as needed, you support each other on the broader marketing and communications activities.We are looking for an experienced Partnerships and Events Lead who has:Technical Experience: A minimum of 4+ years' event experience. Experience in professional services, property development, architectural sectors or large corporate environments will be highly regarded.Business Development Mindset: Demonstrated ability to connect event and partnership activities with client acquisition goals, with a strategic approach to expanding Ethos Urban's client base.Project Management: Proven experience managing and delivering multiple and/or concurrent events from end-to-end, including budget, stakeholder and event supplier management.Communication: You will work with the team to generate content from our partnership events, utilising your strong writing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience running virtual events: such as webinars, hybrid events, and LinkedIn Live, will be an advantage.Optimistic and calm under pressure: the ability to maintain composure during event delivery.Creative, proactive thinker.Knowledge of CRM and event marketing automation software: will also be highly advantageous.Qualifications: in public relations or a related field will be highly valued.Why work with us?The business of creating a better urban experience is a complex one.
