Fixed term role: until 30/06/2025Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)Usual work location: 35 Collins Place, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The Role Reporting to the Manager, TAFE Partnerships, the TAFE Partnership Lead will be part of a small, high performing team overseeing the management and oversight of partnerships with individual TAFEs, focusing on institute engagement, being an access point for Skillsland Employment group and broader government agencies, institute issue management, communication, and performance and accountability. 
The responsibilities of the TAFE Partnerships Lead will include, but are not limited to: 
Identifies issues in common for one or more clients or stakeholders and uses them to build mutually beneficial partnerships, while considering responsibilities and obligations of the TAFE network.Project development and implementation of stakeholder engagement and communication plans through facilitation of discussions and engagement with an aim to progressing opportunities.Exercise professional independent judgement to identify proactive opportunities and escalate emerging issues including gaining agreement to proposals and ideas; Build behind the scenes support for ideas to ensure buy-in and ownership and use chains of indirect influence to achieve outcomes.The Team The position of TAFE Partnership Lead forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD). The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) plays a system leadership and management role for the TAFE Network across Victoria. The OTCD is primarily responsible for driving change in the way in which the Victorian TAFE Network provides training as a coordinated network and serves Victorian students, employers and communities and responds to Government priorities.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Specialist/Technical Expertise: Create stakeholder management plans using analysis of their influence and interests; Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of common goals; Manage relationships with and between stakeholders; Identify, classify and regularly monitor risk in accordance with Department processes and guidelines and Provide guidance on risk identification and prioritisation to support effective decision-making.Organisational Awareness: Understands issues and pressures to which the organisation must respond; understands the reasons behind the organisational climate and culture.Verbal and Written Communication: Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way; clearly understands the target audience and the objectives of the communication; uses audience feedback to refine communication and ensure communications are understood; handles difficult and sensitive communications well.The department is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.
