Our goal is to build a better world – one where humans not only live in balance with nature, but help it to thrive.   About the role   We are looking for a passionate, energetic and experienced Partnerships Communications Specialist to join the Planet Ark team. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will work with the Partnerships Team to plan, provide and evaluate marketing strategies for Planet Ark's partners and sponsors.  The role involves planning, developing and implementing campaign and marketing assets across a variety of channels, including social media campaigns, articles and newsletters, and undertaking website updates.  You will also be tasked with maintaining relationships with sponsors through reporting/evaluation and providing insights on deliverables.  This is a full-time 12-month contract position. The salary for this role is $65k per annum + super + benefits.  After a recent trial we now offer all full-time employees a 9-day working fortnight (67.5 hours). These hours are worked with alternate Fridays as a non-working day: staff are still paid at the rate for their full contracted hours. Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or related discipline. Experience planning, creating and evaluating communications content for social media, websites, newsletters. An energetic self-starter, with a strong, goal-driven desire to succeed. Strong understanding of social media platforms, with a proven ability to produce creative content. Experience handling internal stakeholder relationships and the ability to negotiate and communicate agreed outcomes. Possess strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity for problem solving and solution-based thinking. Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills. Excellent organisational skills. Experience presenting ideas both internally and externally. A strong sense of accountability and excellent attention to detail. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team. Ability to think quickly, work effectively under pressure and to manage several projects at once. A strong alignment with Planet Ark's mission and values.
