Part-Time Veterinary Dermatology Nurse

Veterinary Dermatology Clinic – Canberra ACT Are you a passionate and energetic vet nurse seeking an exciting opportunity? VDC is expanding its team and looking for a skilled nurse to join us in Canberra. While experience in a busy referral or GP practice is essential, no previous dermatology experience is required—we'll provide all the training you need! This is a part-time, clinic-based role , working Monday and Tuesday (19 hours per week during business hours). What We're Looking For: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing Ideally 3-5 years of clinical experience (but we highly value hard work and a positive attitude) Strong communication skills —both written and verbal Team player mentality A Driver's License Your Responsibilities: Assisting with patient admissions and discharges for consultations and procedures Venipuncture and IV catheter placements Preparing and administering medications under specialist guidance Monitoring anaesthesia Assisting with intradermal allergy testing, bee/wasp venom testing, video-otoscopy, and skin biopsies Following up with clients post-consultation What We Offer: Above award wages Fun paid team activities throughout the year (How about an electric bike tour through Murrumbateman's wineries or a Paint & Pinot session in the Southern Highlands?)
