About the role We are looking for one part time skilled and experienced Community Care Worker located in the Ringwood, Victoria area.
This role relies on great people, you could find yourself working on any of the following to provide high-quality care services to our Members, in accordance with their Help Plan:
Services may include:
Personal Care - e.g.
showering, dressing, medication assistance, manual handling.Domestic Assistance - e.g.
cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping, light gardening.Companionship - e.g.
providing company through friendships, interests and activities.Driving and Community Access - e.g.
driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed.Home Administration - e.g.
booking appointments, organising special events, support with technology.Act as a role model to our other Helpers regarding the Five Good Friends code of conduct values, systems, technology and processes.Do you have what it takes? You will have a minimum of two years experience in the aged care, primary/community healthcare or disability sector providing personal support and care.You will be IT literate and able to use smartphones and tablets.A Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015), Assistant in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification is a must.You will have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.You will have demonstrated strong administration and organisational skills.Integrity, discretion and tact with respect to confidential information.Flexible and responsive in management of workload and tasks.You will hold a current First Aid, CPR and Mental Health First Aid Certificates.You will have the ability and be willing to obtain a clear relevant criminal history check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current open and clear Driver's License.We strongly encourage candidates of all different backgrounds and identities to apply.
