Due to their continued success and industry growth, we are introducing Fulgent Australia, a premier genomics laboratory situated in Adelaide dedicated to providing top-tier clinical genetic testing services to patients across Australia.
With the expansion of their Australian operation, we are seeking a Part-time Human Resources Manager to lead their team.
This position is a solid generalist role and will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans for the human resource needs of the company, formulation of company policies to maintain a seamless recruitment & onboarding experience for team members, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: Plan, organise and oversee all activities of the HR department at Fulgent Australia. Conduct full-cycle recruitment efforts for all personnel, interns, and temporary employees; conduct new-employee orientations; monitor career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing. Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures in accordance with current regulations; prepare and maintain handbook. Perform monthly payroll processing. Review and approve time off requests and payroll deductions in HRIS and manage leave requests and eligibility. Conduct employee relations investigations and follow-up coaching as needed. Manage and monitor workplace injuries and consult with Corporate EHS Manager, coordinate & conduct safety training. Conduct annual performance reviews along with supervisors and Generalists for performance coaching. Tabulate results for management's review for annual compensation adjustments. This position will suit a well-rounded Senior Human Resources Generalist who is interested in an Australian startup.
Please note it is essential to have Australian expertise on current legislation, Fair Work Act, and modern awards.
This permanent part-time position offers approximately 25 hours per week, 5 days per week; however, there is complete flexibility with your hours. If this suits your lifestyle, we've got you covered!
