Are you a commercially astute Financial Controller looking to join a successful, privately-owned business during an exciting growth phase? This role will be a key position in setting the foundation for financial and reporting processes as they move into the next phase of their growth and development.
With over 50 staff and operating across 3 offices on the East Coast, this is a fantastic opportunity for a part-time professional looking to enjoy a high performing environment. Reporting directly to the directors, this role will be responsible for:
Leading month-end reportingDriving a budgeting and forecasting processManaging and forecasting cashflow and WIPOverseeing compliance with ASIC, ATO and OSR (and other) statutory bodiesLiaising with external accounting, banks, insurance and legal professionalsSupervising a small, hands-on accounting teamAd hoc duties as requiredThis is a role that will be a mixture of hands-on accounting and financial analysis as well as helping to develop a finance function to efficiently support the growth of the company.
Your success in this role will be based on your experience within high performing environments. You will have experience in managing small teams and setting up processes and procedures.
CA/CPA qualifications will be highly regarded as well as a strong mix of financial control and FP&A experience. A proven ability to work with non-financial stakeholders and work directly with entrepreneurs will be highly regarded.
