The OpportunityThis is a brilliant opportunity to be the Finance Manager for a successful and industry leading advisory firm. They have an excellent reputation in Australia and an impressive presence globally.This exciting and challenging role will allow the right individual to work closely with the Partners of the firm in a broad stand-alone accounting role. They are seeking a CA/CPA qualified accountant who is looking to do 3-4 days a week of work.The ChallengeManagement and financial accounting for all entities within the groupWeekly performance reporting including sales reporting, KPI analysis and presentation to the Senior Leadership teamWork closely with the Partners to review monthly performance, identifying risks and mitigating opportunities that aid in delivering the annual budget and long-term strategiesManage the annual budgetFinancial analysis including cashflow analysis, forecasting, cost reduction analysisWorking capital management including processing and reconciling payments and receiptsReviewing month end including reconciling Xero ledgers, Balance Sheet reconciliations, inter-entity transactions, consolidation and month end reportsPreparation of quarterly board reporting and associated documentationEnd-to-end payroll processing for Australian businessResponsible for overseeing preparation and lodgement of quarterly and monthly BAS/IAS and FBT and payroll tax requirementsLiaising with external accountants for tax compliance workAd hoc reporting as requiredThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:Preferably, you are a CA/CPA with 8+ years accounting experience developed working in a small to medium sized business. Ideally, you will have worked in a stand-alone capacity and have a broad accounting skill-set covering all aspects of financial accounting, management accounting as well as AP, AR, and Payroll.Experience in a boutique investment/funds management, corporate advisory, family office, or professional services firms will be highly desirable.Additionally, you will be comfortable in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.Importantly, you will be a strong communicator with an eagerness to roll your sleeves up, learn and develop.
