Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Exploration Manager to lead and manage our international exploration projects. This role will play a critical part in the planning, coordination, and execution of exploration activities, ensuring efficient resource development and alignment with company objectives. You will be working closely with a small team and gain a wide exposure to the business.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee exploration projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Develop and implement exploration strategies to identify new discoveries.Supervise geological fieldwork, including sampling, drilling, and geophysical surveys.Analyse geological data and support the compilation of market releases Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure timely project execution.Assist in budgeting and financial planning for exploration projects.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.Provide technical expertise in evaluating potential exploration opportunities Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Geology (post graduate study preferred).At least 5 years of experience in mineral exploration across different commodities and deposit types (preference for base metals, complimented by precious metals).International experience, with preference for Canadian jurisdictions.Strong project management and leadership skills.Excellent understanding of geological data management and software (including LeapFrog, QGIS and ioGAS).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and reporting skills.A valid manual driver's license.Ability to travel to various field locations globally as needed.Benefits: Part-time hours.Competitive salary.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Work with a forward-thinking company in the mineral exploration sector.
