Marcellin College, a leading Catholic boy's school, presents an opportunity for an experienced Canteen Assistant to join our team for a fixed term on a part-time basis for Semester 1, 2024. We are seeking a passionate and committed team member with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Success Factors Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion and to work under pressure.Basic food preparation (including wraps & sandwiches) and wrapping & packaging thereof.Serving of students and staff via the electronic Point of Sale (POS) system.Preparation of food required for internal College meetings and functions upon request.Stock control and stocking cabinets for sale of products including hot food and cold drinks.Minimisation of waste and excess stock.Cleaning up all food preparation areas and dishes/utensils.Understanding allergy considerations when preparing food.Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, working across multiple age groups.A current WWCC and Police Check.About the College Marcellin College is an inclusive faith learning community where Jesus is known and loved.
