Part Time Business Services / Tax Accountant27th September, 2024This boutique, centrally located Accounting firm is based close to the train line in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. The office is fresh, bright and close to amenities. The firm offers flexibility, work-life balance and is family-friendly. The firm is open to someone working 3 longer days per week or 5 days a week in school hours with the flexibility to increase hours down the track should you desire. There is ample growth opportunity to become a Senior Member of the firm for the right candidate.Duties within this role:Process a set of accounts from beginning to end, from bookkeeping, reconciliations, right through to completing the tax returns and financials using Handisoft.Assist a diverse client base, mostly small to medium enterprise up to $1 million turnover.Experience working with companies, partnerships, trusts.Client contact will form part of this role. The owner will be facilitating the client meetings - this may change over time subject to the candidate.Skills and personal attributes:3+ years working in an accounting firm.This role would suit someone who can work efficiently and independently.Excellent communication skills.Ideally, you will live local to the Sutherland Shire.The use of Handisoft will be an advantage; however, it is not a requirement.To apply for this position, submit your resume in a 'word' version to ****** or apply online.
