As the Part-Time Business Manager, you'll be responsible for providing sound financial advice to the director of this Architectural Studio and organise and coordinate office administration and procedures, to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
The successful business manager is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Working in our office, you'll be experienced in financial management as well as handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks. The right candidate will need to be well organised, efficient, have good time management skills and be flexible. You'll enjoy administrative challenges and provide face-to-face support to our collaborative team.
Bookkeeping/accounting skills are essential.
In this role, you will:
Prepare and oversee the administration of cash flow, account payments, payroll and financial plans to ensure the company meets its financial goals. Improve operational systems, processes and practices focused on supporting the team. Execute accurate reporting that enables sound financial analysis and recommendations. Prepare BAS Returns and payroll related statutory obligations. Harness your organisational skills to effectively manage complex diaries, challenging timelines, expenses, timesheets and billing managementBe a guiding hand on strategy and planning and collaborate with the team to develop business systems and policies to support growth.Prepare and edit reports, create Word templates and project presentations on PowerPoint - advanced Microsoft Suite skills are non-negotiable. Organising company bookings travel and accommodation. Organise in-house events for the team and the wider water community.
