We are currently recruiting for an Aviation Protection Officer to be based at Sunshine Coast Airport on a Part-Time basis.

As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travelers and visitors transiting through Sunshine Coast Airport.

The Position:
As the Aviation Protection Officer, you will be responsible for:
Engaging with customers, consistently providing a high-quality, positive experience.
Undertaking screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
Performing all Security and Safety emergency procedures.
Ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Consistently displaying professional standards of behaviour and personal presentation.
Working in a fast-paced ever-changing team environment.
Completing incident reports as required.
Engaging with travellers and visitors in a positive manner when they are transiting through and arriving and departing the terminal.
Skills and Experience:
You will have:
Ability to obtain/endorsed for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
Ability to successfully pass Drug and Alcohol screening and medical assessments.
Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance).
Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
