About the Role
They are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team in Sydney CBD with flexibility to work a few days from home per week. This is a permanent part time opportunity, working 22.5 – 25hours per week between Tuesdays to Fridays.
Working within the Corporate Services Finance team, you will be required to provide a wide range of finance and accounting support, with a focus on the Accounts Receivable function.
Responsibilities Deliver professional customer service, answering enquiries in a timely manner Facilitate the resolution of requests Inbox management, generating correspondence Undertake full function accounts receivable Partner with Sales team to understand the types of licenses they manage, noting specific collection processes with certain customer groups Undertake general ledger processing and bank reconciliations Generate routine and ad hoc reporting Complete month end and year end accounting activities Assist with projects including preparing for external audits, implementing business process improvements Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating engagement, collaboration and partnerships Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
About You Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written Confident, and professional with an exceptional customer service delivery High attention to detail Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Concur and Salesforce Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Requirements Demonstrated Assistant Accountant experience or an equivalent role Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes Intermediate Excel skills Reliable remote internet access to work hybrid Flexibility to work 22.5-25hours per week, Tuesday's to Friday's Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment How to Apply
