Key Responsibilities:Delivering exceptional, efficient, professional, and welcoming customer service, in person, over the phone, and via email.Effectively scheduling appointments for our vast team of mixed practice veterinarians, processing payments, invoicing and reporting.Providing a very high level of administrative support, including but not limited to data input, stock control and support of reception and other staff members as required.Ideal Candidate Traits:The ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy work environment with the capacity to manage competing priorities.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals and, at times, highly emotional situations.A genuine team player who is reliable and hard-working.Strong administration skills with a high proficiency in detail, accuracy, and a passion for problem-solving.Please note this is a genuine administration role and not a pathway to a veterinary nursing career.
This role is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week (which may be negotiated for the right applicant). The role will also include coverage for other staff members and may, at times, be full-time and include the occasional Saturday morning.
Our hospital is a large and vibrant mixed practice consisting of 12 veterinarians, 7 nurses, 4 administration staff, 6 receptionists, 2 laboratory staff and 2 animal technicians.
Our opening hours are 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturdays.
