Part-Time Position Company Incentives Comprehensive In-house Training Richard Jay is seeking to appoint a key new member of staff who will be integral to its on-going success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts officer.
Founded in 1969, Richard Jay is an internationally recognised corporation providing laundry, warewashing and chemical dispensing solutions for hospitality, healthcare, government and community operations of all sizes.
This part-time position based in our offices at Dudley Park will be joining our existing team which provides laundry solutions to our customers Australia wide.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate recent experience in:
Providing accounts and administrative support A knowledge of accounting software packages A high degree of professionalism in your work An advantage would be knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (formerly NAV/NAVISION).
Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, the key functions of this position include: Assisting with the accounts payable and receivable processes Address debtor and creditor inquiries promptly Daily entry of banking Assisting the finance team with ad hoc jobs and reports Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve any outstanding issues Shared Tasks For Completion Would Also Include: Processing debtor invoices for the After Sales/Service Department Creation and processing of creditor payments Petty cash reconciliation and control Monitoring and reconciliation of Company credit cards To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need: Experience in a similar role Speed and accuracy in data entry Attention to detail Self-motivation A strong team player Good communication skills Effective time management Strong work ethic As a second-generation family company, we understand that a business's people are its No. 1 asset.
