Status: Permanent, Full Time (1.0FTE) Salary range: $65,838.06 - $71,661.79 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience Opportunity: The City of Albany's Natural and Developed Reserves Teams are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join their team.
These roles are available from level 4 to 6 dependent on your experience and qualifications.
As part of this role, you will work a Monday to Friday rostered 9-day fortnight, reporting to the Leading Hand, this position will see you responsible for, but not limited to: Maintenance of parks around Albany including: Tree pruning and maintenance Playgrounds Reticulation Gardens Mowing • Operating and basic maintenance of plant and equipment; tractors, mowers, whipper-snippers and brush-cutters; • Undertaking manual tasks; and • Working in a team environment.
About You : Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, basic first aid, and the ability to undertake physically demanding work are essential for this role.
Completion of a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent is required to be considered for levels 4, 5 and 6.
Additional tickets such as elevated work platform, Chemical handling, HR licence and traffic management as well as experience in plant operation is highly desirable.
