Job Description Opportunity: The City of Albany's Developed Reserves Team is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join their team. This role is available from level 4 to 6 dependent on your experience and qualifications.
As part of this role, you will work a Monday to Friday rostered 9-day fortnight, reporting to the Leading Hand. This position will see you responsible for, but not limited to:
Maintenance of parks around Albany including: Street tree pruning and maintenance Playgrounds Reticulation Gardens Mowing Operating and basic maintenance of plant and equipment; tractors, mowers, whipper-snippers and brush-cutters Undertaking manual tasks Working in a team environment Desired Skills and Experience About You : Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, basic first aid, and the ability to undertake physically demanding work are essential for this role. Completion of a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent is required to be considered for levels 4, 5, and 6.
Additional tickets such as elevated work platform, chemical handling, HR licence, and traffic management, as well as experience in plant operation, are highly desirable.
