Join Our Team as a Parks IPM Specialist! The City of Palmdale Department of Public Works is recruiting a Parks Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Specialist to help transform our parks into some of the most well-maintained public spaces in Southern California!
With 522 acres of developed parkland, 6731 trees, and 140 acres of turfgrass, we are on a mission to improve our parks' green spaces—and we need your expertise to make it happen.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage IPM programs for parks and transit sites, including weed and vertebrate control.Ensure contractor compliance and collaborate with licensed pest control advisors.Maintain a Qualified Applicators License and manage program supply inventories.Raise turfgrass maintenance levels to wear levels.Assist with sports field renovations.Train staff.Who We're Looking For:
