About the Role The Parks and Gardens team is responsible for the care, management, and operation of a comprehensive network of public open space and recreational areas established for active and passive recreation for the community and the preservation of the natural features of the landscape and environment along the Sunshine Coast.
As a Parks Cleaner/Operator, you will perform a broad range of tasks under general supervision by the Parks Leader Cleaning Services, including:
Cleaning public conveniences, BBQs, and associated Parks Infrastructure. Beach litter collection and roadside litter and debris removal. Cleaning of parks and other Council assets. About You As someone passionate about serving the community and the outdoors, you will bring a high level of energy to the position. You are a team player, eager to join a high-performing team, utilizing your strong problem-solving abilities to complete all tasks within set timeframes.
Minimum Requirements To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A current "C" Class driver's license. Immunisation against Hepatitis A & B and Tetanus. Physical agility and the fitness, strength, and dexterity to carry out laboring tasks, including frequent heavy lifting and bending. Appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
