About this position The City's Parks and Environment branch is dedicated to enhancing and maintaining our open spaces, parks and reserves. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage contractor performance and support delivery of high quality services across our parks and open spaces.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing technical contract specifications, providing expert advice and ensuring that contractor activities align with the City's operational standards. You will also monitor contractor outputs, foster strong working relationships and contribute to the strategic planning of the branch to continuously improve our services and assets.
What we are looking for To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Extensive experience developing technical contract specifications Proven ability to manage contractor performance Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate personal workload and multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within specified timeframes Diploma or higher in Contract Management, Landscape Construction, Horticulture or equivalent qualification Current driver's licence White Card National Police Clearance (no more than three months old).
