An ability to connect with people, even in difficult situations. You might have experience in customer service or even refereeing your local sports team, it doesn't matter where you've gained your skills, it's your ability to be both diplomatic and confident enough to de-escalate situations that might arise that we need. The desire to do the right thing, even when no one is watching. With great freedom comes great responsibility. We need all of our Officers to have innate honesty and integrity. Good judgment. Keeping you and the general public safe is our number one priority. We need our Officers to make sound enforcement decisions, assessing safety and risk and to interpret parking regulations Tenacity and resilience . When it's raining and cold and you've been shouted at for the 3rd time that day, you'll need to dig deep and have the commitment to dust off and carry on. Time management and organisational skills. Enabling you to patrol your designated area efficiently Ability to write accurate and clear reports. Necessary to be used as evidence of enforcement Hours. Flexible availability to work across our required span of hours on a 6 days rotating roster, Monday to Saturday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. There may be times you are required to work evenings and Sundays Pre-Employment Requirements Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Check.
