About Us Serco has a dedicated team of over 600 people supporting operations at Fiona Stanley Hospital and works in close partnership with the hospital leadership, WA Health, clinicians, and staff to deliver essential non-clinical facilities management, ICT and HR managed services. Our specialist team designs, manages and optimises the integrated services and are critical to the ongoing delivery of clinical services in Western Australia's largest and most digitally enabled public healthcare facility. About the role The Vehicle and Traffic Management Service ((VTMS) ensures that traffic flow and parking equipment is managed at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH), as part of our vision to create Australia's leading Healthcare Environment. We maintain a highly visible presence, engage with individuals, parking systems and respond rapidly and professionally to incidents. The Parking Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital is primarily responsible for issuing parking infringements, car park equipment maintenance, responding to parking related incidents, and the replenishment of parking machines. About you As the parking officer you will pride yourself on your ability to demonstrate sound customer service and problem-solving skills. Your exceptional time management skills will ensure you respond quickly to altering situations and display a systematic approach to your daily tasks. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. To be successful in this role you will have: • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. • Sound organisation and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Enjoys working outdoors and willing to work in all types of weather. • Sound computer literacy skills. • Able to troubleshoot and solve problems • Experience working within a Health Care Environment (desirable) • Experience utilising hand-held devices, preferably PDA's (desirable) You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
