Your new company

Hays has partnered with a small Local Government Area in Northern Sydney to find an experienced Parking Officer to join their compliance team for a 6-month contract. Located near the heart of Northern Sydney, this Local Government Area is dedicated to delivering high levels of customer service and a positive experience for their ratepayers and visitors.

Your new role:

In this new role you'll be using your expertise in Local Government compliance and community safety standards.

Your day to day will include:

Patrolling the LGA on foot and in vehicle.Issuing parking infringements.Educating the public on local laws.Responding to customer complaints.
What you'll need to succeed:

A successful candidate will have worked as a Parking Officer or Ranger for a minimum of 2 years.

Our ideal candidate would have:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to deescalate difficult situations.A current NSW driving licence.Full vaccination against COVID-19A Cert IV in Local Government Investigations
What you'll get in return

You will get to bring your experience and knowledge to a small Local Government Area located near the heart of Northern Sydney.

You will:
Earn up to $40/Hour + Super (Experience depending).Work a 40-hour week over 5 days (Some weekend work required).
This role is an initial contract of 6-months and has the possibility of extension and converting to full-time.
