Your Role: As a Parking Maintenance Worker, your work will primarily include maintenance and installation of all on-street parking assets, such as parking signs and parking bay road markings, with guidance from the supervisor.
In performing these the occupant operates basic plant and equipment whilst representing the City in a positive manner.
Reporting to the Maintenance Scheduler, you'll be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and installation of all on-street parking assets including parking signs and poles, traffic counters and parking bay road markings; Maintenance of footpaths, roads, cycleways, retaining walls and drainage systems which will include the lifting and relaying of pavers and precast kerbs, temporary asphalt patching, minor retaining wall repairs as well as maintenance to the city's drainage network; Use and care of hand tools and operate basic items such as plate compactors, jack hammers and cement mixers; and Ensure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with all relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and all other relevant Council policies and procedures, and other frameworks.
