Assistant Services Superintendent Mining Paramedic FIFO Australia Paramedic Job – FIFO Perth An opportunity now exists for an experienced Paramedic to join a close-knit team working for a well-known mining company as it begins the process of ramping up its operations. The role is FIFO on a 12/9 roster from Perth.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Safety & Services Superintendent and Site Supervisors to ensure that the mining operations comply with all Company and statutory Occupational Health & Safety policies and regulations as well as providing coaching and training in the areas of safety, health and injury management.
The successful applicant MUST have the following: Current WA "C" Class motor vehicle license for manual transmission Current WA Police Clearance (not more than 3 months old) Occupational Health & Safety, Paramedic/Occupational Health Management ERT qualifications. You will have a background in the mining industry and strong experience across all aspects of OH&S, training, emergency response / management, workers compensation, medical protocols and health & safety systems and standards. Other skills and experience required for the role will include a sound working knowledge of risk management, investigative procedures, auditing, ERT, remote operations and issues associated with the FIFO lifestyle.
The position demands that you have strong communication, leadership, training and rapport-building skills with the ability to communicate across all levels from site management to front-line leadership. You will set a high standard of performance for yourself and take accountability for the successful delivery of tasks and assignments.
