Share this content on your favourite social media platform:Looking for something different? We are currently seeking a Paramedic to provide care to workers in the resources industry. You will provide support and healthcare services to our client's employees, keeping them healthy and safe while aiming to reduce workplace injuries. This role includes providing emergency response and primary healthcare to site personnel.



Essential requirements

- Current AHPRA Registration (Unrestricted).
- Minimum 3 years of on-road ambulance experience post qualification.
- Advanced Life Support Course (ALS) or equivalent.
- Authorised Drug Collection Officer.
- Proficient computer skills for operational duties.
- Previous experience in the provision of general primary healthcare in a non-hospital environment in a remote environment.
- A well-developed knowledge of, and experience in the application of Emergency Response Services within the mining sector or equivalent environment.
- Experience in hydration testing.


Desirable

- Experience in return-to-work programs and mental health support.
- Competent to provide immunisations and vaccinations.
- Valid MSIC.
- Experience in fit testing.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST).
- Minimum 3 years intensive care experience (essential for ICP applicants).
- Graduate Certificate in Critical Care – preferred or equivalent experience (essential for ICP applicants).


About the role

- Provide initial emergency response, stabilisation, and transportation / medevac of critically ill or injured patients.
- Provide primary health care and treatment of non-emergency medical conditions.
- Participate in HSE activities, tasks and training.
- Participate in Emergency Response Team education, training, and procedure development.
- Design, implementation and delivery of onsite training and health awareness packages.
- Coordinate and deliver onsite drug and alcohol testing.
- General clinic administration management and reporting duties.
