About the role

Join the dedicated team as a Paramedic/Educator, working full-time in Canberra, ACT. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing workplace and community training in first aid and similar courses, workplace training in emergency rescue, upskilling clinical professionals, and developing your own career as a clinical educator.  We are unique in that we deliver health based courses, simple to advanced, through health professionals who teach to course curriculum while engaging the course audience in content using real life examples.  We ensure our team are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional training.
What you'll be doing Contributing to content design of courses and unitsDelivering comprehensive certificate and clinical training programs Supporting field activities through emergency response paramedicine or nursingFacilitating interactive workshops and theoretical lessons to enhance the participants' understanding of course principles and best practicesAssessing trainees' competencies and providing constructive feedback to support their success in the course, application of course content at work or in life, and further developmentStaying up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, guidelines, and advancements to incorporate them into the training curriculumCollaborating with the broader team to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the training programsWhat we're looking for Registered Paramedic or Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience Current TAE40122 certificationDemonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and the ability to develop engaging and impactful training programsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiencesExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address the unique training needs of participantsPassion for continuous learning and a commitment to staying at the forefront of adult educationWhat we offer Competitive salary and generous benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on employee wellbeingAccess to the latest training equipment and resources to enhance your deliveryAbout us
