About the team The AIS Engineering team is responsible for working with sports and other partners to identify, prioritise and deploy an applied technology, innovation and human performance agenda through the development of customised sporting equipment solutions for Australia's Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
About the role Working in a team of sport engineers, you will be using the latest technology to support your creativity.
You have the opportunity to develop world leading custom equipment and technology solutions for our Paralympic athletes.
You will be encouraged to take a collaborative approach to your equipment projects, working with other relevant experts to ensure successful project delivery.
About you You will have: 3 years minimum experience working in a Sports, Mechanical, Biomedical or other relevant Engineering role.
Experience managing end to end delivery of engineering technology projects to external clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated hands-on skills and mechanical craftsmanship.
Workshop manufacturing and production capability.
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 30th June 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.

Eligibility To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.

This position requires a Working with Vulnerable/Children People check to obtain employment.

We require all applicants that will work with children to undergo screening processes prior to appointment.
