We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic paralegal to provide legal research, project and administrative support to our team of legal writers.
We have a large team of legal writers who are responsible for developing premium content, including guidance notes, precedents and current awareness, for our 24 practice area modules. The legal writers are continually adding new content and reviewing and updating our existing content to ensure that it is accurate, current and tailored to the needs of our subscribers, and we are looking for a paralegal to support them.
Some examples of tasks that paralegals in the team may undertake include:
monitoring practice area developments and legal researchdrafting news alertscontent reviewmaintaining marketing and training materialsliaising with external authorsGuidelines, training, peer review and expected outcomes for each piece of work will be provided. However, paralegals will need to work independently to achieve these outcomes.
Location and nature of roleWe are looking for time commitment of approx. 3 days (21 hours) per week. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work from our Melbourne or Sydney office, to maximise training and collaboration.
