This position is based in Townsville.Your duties will include:Building relationships with clients/lawyers/barristers.Drafting, proofreading and filing legal documents and correspondence.Preparing briefs to counsel and mediation briefs.Managing internal and external meetings, including coordinating travel and diary management.Matter and file management, including file opening, drafting initial letters, conflict checks and due diligence procedures.Benefits and perksA supportive and positive team environment.Career development and progression opportunities.A culture aimed at achieving work/life quality balance.Skills and experienceIdeally you will have:Experience as a Paralegal; experience in Personal Injuries will be highly regarded.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and manage competing deadlines and priorities.A strong working knowledge of core MS Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).A fast and accurate typing speed.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Be motivated and demonstrate initiative.Experience with LexisNexis Affinity will be highly regarded.
