The Role
We are seeking applications for a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal role to join our Joondalup office on a permanent basis.
Please note that although this role is a full-time opportunity, we are open to discussions around either a part-time or flexible work arrangement, in the equivalent of 4 days per week, for the right candidate.

Assist solicitors with the day-to-day operations of files/client management. Be the first point of contact for clients and answer clients' enquiries. Working with a mixed file load across various personal injury matter types including mainly motor vehicle accident matters, in addition to some criminal injuries compensation and public liability matters. Prepare matters for conference and hearing including preparation of court documents, legal documents and general correspondence. Draft briefs, documents such as claim forms, court documents and schedules of damages and liaise with Counsel. Correspond, brief and liaise with medical practitioners and other experts. Coordinate medico-legal appointments, compulsory conferences and mediations. Manage complex databases of information. Devise systems to support information retention and accessibility. Administration tasks as required. The Skills Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in personal injuries is desirable. Client service oriented, strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team. Proactive, self-starter and displays initiative, with the ability to work autonomously as well as follow processes and direction from supervisors. Strong MS Office skills and the ability to learn new systems and platforms. What We Offer
