Collier Family Law is a boutique family law firm with offices in Cairns and Innisfail.
We assist clients from all over Australia as they navigate separation, property division and parenting disputes.
Our Cairns office is seeking a full time paralegal or administration assistant to assist our Principal lawyer.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5pm, with an early close of 4pm on Fridays.
Responsibilities: Drafting legal correspondenceCorresponding with clientsEffectively managing and tracking multiple deadlines, proactively confirming appointments, and ensuring all actions are completed on timeOverseeing diary and email managementReading, drafting, proofing and filing court documents such as affidavits, case outlines, applications, and other legal documents as requiredDrafting correspondence and coordinating with the court, other parties, and clientsProviding general paralegal and clerical support, and performing additional tasks as requiredSkills Required: Highly organised with the ability to multitaskStrong attention to detailThe ability to work independentlySelf-motivatedProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with LEAP is advantageousThe capability to prioritise work and support a busy practiceIf you are friendly, motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
