We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our team as Paralegal - 2days/week. 24th April, 2024 Are you studying law and are in your last or second last year of Uni? We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our Legal team at Achieve Australia on a part-time basis: 2 days a week .   As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our Legal Counsel and General Counsel in managing legal matters, with a focus on employment and operational matters. Key Responsibilities: Support Legal Counsel and General Counsel in researching and reporting on the effect of legislation on the business. Provide support on employment matters to Legal Counsel and the People Performance and Culture team. Assist with projects undertaken by the Legal function. Draft court documents and other legal documentation. Assist with regulatory matters and respond to requests for information. Support the Legal function in staying informed of new or proposed legislation and policy. Knowledge of general legal terminology and legal principles. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to analyse and review contracts and other legal documents.
