ABOUT THE ROLE In this role you'll be required to support the AFL Legal team and coordinate the AFL's various contracting requirements. You will be responsible for the AFL's contract management system, coordinating the Toyota AFL Grand Final ticket scheme, reviewing AFL brand usage, coordinating music copyright clearances for AFL events (including the Grand Final), preparing legal documents and working proactively with the Legal & Regulatory team and the business more broadly, including the AFL Events, Media, Broadcast and Ticketing teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Key Accountabilities: Undertake initial drafting of template AFL documents such as consultancy agreements, player ambassador agreements, confidentiality agreements and event booking agreements Prepare competition and trade promotion terms and conditions Oversee legal requirements of the use of the AFL brand through the AFL's brand management platform Brand HQ Prepare and advise the business and AFL Clubs on the Toyota AFL Grand Final ticket scheme and major events legislation Provide assistance to the legal team with daily administrative tasks Support compliance with wagering and media partner contractual agreements Coordinate music copyright clearances for live music at events and AFL marketing campaigns Maintain AFL contract management system OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER Core Competencies: 2-5 years' experience in a paralegal / sport administration / marketing role Superior communication skills – written and verbal Team player Outstanding attention to detail and planning skills Excellent time management Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management skills Results and performance driven Strong business acumen Strong collaboration and influencing skills OUR CULTURE Please visit www.afl.com.au/careers/our-organisation
