This includes supporting compliance with legislation, managing legal records, and coordinating work requests.
The role also involves maintaining and updating the Legal Services work requests, ensuring timely escalation when necessary.
In this role you will;   Deliver high-quality paralegal and technical support to the Legal Services team Conduct research on legislation, case law, and Powerlink records to assist the team in delivering accurate legal advice Assist in creating, formatting, and reviewing templates for legal documents used within the organisation Prepare basic legal documents using templates, under the supervision of senior legal team members Compile briefs for internal and external stakeholders, prepare internal memorandums, and handle general correspondence related to legal matters Manage the legal work requests system, ensuring all documentation and correspondence are tracked and responded to within required timeframes Perform property conveyancing and conduct various searches, such as titles, easement registration, plans, and company searches Maintain effective record-keeping and legal file management within Legal Services, ensuring compliance with the Public Records Act 2002 The community you will join   Join our expanding team of highly experienced in-house lawyers and report directly to our Head of Legal.

Your expertise   Ideally you will have a Certificate or Diploma in Business, Administration or Legal Studies with relevant experience working as a Paralegal.
You will have a proven track record of providing confidential, high-quality support that meets compliance requirements.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
You will have experience in conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, are crucial.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, with experience in liaising with clients, stakeholders, solicitors, and barristers.
You will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong oral and written communication skills are also necessary.
