Work close to home - in house role based at Riverview, IpswichRunning WorkCover claims.WorkCover Paralegal or Claims Advisor background is essential.The Role Our client is seeking an experienced personal injuries paralegal or defendant insurance paralegal (or Claims Advisor) to work on workers compensation/common law matters.
In this role you will be responsible for the efficient processing and management of Qld Workers Compensation Claims.
Your duties will include:
Managing your own portfolio of claimsDetermining liabilities on new and continuing claimsAuthorise, process and reconcile claim paymentsEnsure accurate, timely claims data, collation and interpretation of statistical reportsMake decisions in relation to the legal aspects of the claimsLiaise with stakeholders and clients to ensure appropriate outcomesYour experience To be successful in this role you will need prior WorkCover Paralegal or Claims Advisor experience of at least 1 year.
The Law Firm / Salary This is a rare opportunity to work as part of an inhouse legal team, for a recognised Australian brand.
Free parking on site, flexible hours and have 200 staff at the Riverview office.
Salary is commensurate with experience ($95,000 - $110,000 package including super).
They will also offer a bonus of up to 10% and do yearly salary/performance reviews.
