Job Description:
Pon Maa Kishan Journal is seeking dedicated and innovative Content Strategists to focus on Papua New Guinea. This role involves developing and executing content strategies that address critical issues related to agriculture, environmental sustainability, and rural development within the context of Papua New Guinea. We welcome applications from both fresh graduates eager to start their careers and experienced professionals ready to contribute their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development:

Develop and implement content strategies that align with Pon Maa Kishan Journal's mission and address key issues in Papua New Guinea, including sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation, and environmental conservation.
Conduct research on Papua New Guinea's agricultural practices, environmental challenges, and audience interests to create relevant and effective content strategies.

2. Content Creation & Management:

Collaborate with writers, editors, and multimedia designers to produce high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, and multimedia formats.
Ensure all content is accurate, compelling, and consistent with Pon Maa Kishan Journal's brand voice, tailored to Papua New Guinea's unique context and issues.

3. SEO & Performance Analytics:

Apply SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, enhancing its visibility and reach.
Monitor and analyze content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve content effectiveness and strategy.

4. Audience Research & Engagement:

Conduct research to understand the needs, challenges, and interests of audiences in Papua New Guinea related to agriculture and environmental issues.
Engage with the audience through social media, surveys, and community interactions to gather feedback and refine content strategies.

5. Editorial Calendar Management:

Maintain and manage the editorial calendar to ensure a steady flow of content and timely delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and editorial, to ensure smooth content production and distribution.

6. Content Promotion & Distribution:

Work with the marketing team to promote content through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and partnerships with local organizations and influencers.
Explore and implement innovative content formats and distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Requirements:
For Freshers:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or related fields.
Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital content marketing.
Enthusiasm for agriculture, sustainability, and environmental issues in Papua New Guinea.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

For Experienced Candidates:

2-5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
Expertise in SEO, content optimization, and performance analytics.
Strong project management skills with experience in content production workflows.
Knowledge of Papua New Guinea's agricultural and environmental issues is a plus.
