Paper Machine Installation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join our client's team in North Wales.Responsibilities:Team Management:* Lead Engineer and Technician teams, manage their activities for installation processes.* Manage subcontractor teams, providing direction to ensure smooth progress in installation processes.* Maintain site organization and optimize workflow efficiency throughout the installation process.* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure steady workflow and project alignment.Quality Improvement:* Guide regular quality inspections with Quality teams to ensure that installation work meets high-quality standards.* Identify quality issues on-site, provide feedback to relevant teams, and implement corrective actions as necessary.* Provide regular updates to engineers and managers, detailing project advancements, encountered issues, and resolution processes.* Guide Quality teams for document completion of installation activities through inspection reports and testing records for project handover preparation.Documentation:* Maintain detailed records of installation processes and equipment specifications.* Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports for management on project status and outcomes.Skills Required:Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in the paper industry.Strong technical knowledge of machinery and installation processes.Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.Valid equivalent CSCS Card.This is a contract role for around 18 months.
