Painter and Decorator – Noble Park, VIC Kogan People Solutions are assisting a successful, locally owned and operated painting business as they recruit their new painter based in Noble Park, Victoria.
About our client: This professional painting and decorating firm specialise in high quality and premium painting services across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria.

Their team of skilled painters use premium materials and the latest techniques to deliver flawless finishes tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, whether that be a small home makeover, a large-scale commercial project or a substantial Government school.
The pipeline of new work is bursting, and they now seek another skilled and qualified full-time painter to join the team.
The work is full time and ongoing.
Salary - great salary in the range $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum.
Location – work locations are across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria. Their base is in Noble Park, Victoria.
To be considered, you need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths: Well experienced in all aspects of the painting trade.
Experience in intumescent/fire repellent coatings and golf leaf is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
You must be comfortable working in a team or independently.
Possess a clear Driver's License.
Duties will include: Painting to the highest standard of workmanship - surface prep, as well as mixing and matching.
Washing, scraping, sanding and/or smoothing interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing or applying other related materials.
Thoroughly clean equipment, paint mixing area and work area.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining all sorts of internal surfaces, walls to ceilings.
Competently erect and use apparatus (ladders and planks) to work safely at all heights.
Identification, safe handling and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.
Work with a deep understanding of OHS practices and requirements.

To successfully apply, you: Possess relevant trade certificates to at least Certificate III level plus 2 years supervised working experience or agreed substitute.
Have a minimum 2 to 3 years (preferably more) working experience in the field since you acquired your qualifications.
Appropriate cards and industry certificates.
Excellent demonstrated team skills, patience, and empathy.
Are prompt and reliable, with excellent time management skills.
Are eager to secure a full-time salaried position (so this role is not suitable for sub-contractors) You have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
