They are now seeking a highly skilled PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join their team of professionals on a full-time and permanent basis.
Ideal applicants will possess the following: At least 3 years' experience Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent Coal Board Medical / BMA Health Assessment Construction Induction (White or Blue Card) Current Drivers Licence (MR or HR class is desirable) High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift (desirable) MSIC Card (desirable) Must have great work ethics and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Understand surface preparation and finishes. Be able to understand and complete works to specifications. Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc. Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers. Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness. Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Erecting scaffolding and ladders. Cleaning equipment and work areas. This is an exciting opportunity in a successful contracting organisation.
