  We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team.
As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various residential and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
    Responsibilities:   Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, installing protective drop sheets, and covering fixtures.
Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and smoothing surfaces.
Remove previous paint or wallpaper using appropriate methods.
Apply paint to walls and structures utilising brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Make assessments on paint colour, mix and match pigments using multiple techniques and tools.
Clean tools using appropriate different cleaning agents, dispose of used materials properly and pack away equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed promptly and as per specifications.
Understand and comply with industry safety and environmental policies and procedures.
    Requirements:   Relevant qualification at Certificate III or Certificate IV level At least two years of full-time work experience as a painter Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork ability.
Able to work efficiently with and without supervision.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to painting and construction.
    Salary:   The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per year.
