Full-time Painter position available with a competitive salary.

  Mountains Carpentry specialises in high-quality custom woodworking, home renovations, and outdoor structures.
We're looking for a skilled and passionate painter to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in delivering an excellent services to clients in both private and commercial sectors.
  Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with residential and commercial clients to understand their colour preferences, providing recommendations for suitable paint colours that align with personal or brand aesthetics.
Set up and dismantle scaffolding and ladders to access elevated areas such as high walls, ceilings or other architectural features that require painting.
Take measures to protect floors, furniture and other items in the work area from paint splatter or damage during the painting process, such as placing drop sheets.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing old paint, sanding, filling holes and cracks and priming, ensuring a smooth and clean canvas for paint application.
Select and prepare paints and mix and match paint colours to achieve the shade or colour scheme specified by the client.
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper or other finishes using various techniques, such as brushing, rolling or spraying, to protect, maintain and enhance the appearance of surfaces and buildings.
Pay special attention to details, including trim, corners and edges, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
Apply durable and high-traffic-resistant coatings in commercial spaces to ensure longevity and ease of maintenance.
Clean equipment and the work area upon completion of the project, removing any debris or leftover materials.
Adhere to local regulations and safety standards related to the use of paints and finishes, particularly in commercial settings where strict adherence to codes may be required.
  Requirements Relevant certification in painting or a related field At least 2 years of experience as a Painter in private and commercial settings Expertise in surface preparation, colour matching and various painting techniques Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members   Salary Offer: $73,000 - 80,000 p.a.+ Super   If you are a skilled Painter looking to contribute to a reputable painting company, we invite you to join our team!
